Erev Rosh Hashanah Shared Holiday Potluck Dinner
Sunday, September 29, 2019 • 29 Elul 5779
5:00 PM - 6:00 PMCome for blessings at 5:00 pm, enjoy our potluck dinner, followed by a brief and meaningful Erev Rosh Hashanah service at 6:30 PM.
Our open doors are swinging wider to welcome friends and others who may be interested in celebrating the beginning of the New Year. What a great opportunity to show BI in its best, most welcoming time. We will share food and blessings with each other and with our guests.
Our holiday themed menu will include some traditional Rosh Hashanah foods, such as kugel, carrot salad, rice pilaf and apples and honey. Details and sign up instructions are on the sign up page. Recipes will be sent after signing up (feel free to ask to preview any recipes to help you decide.) We’ll all pitch in to clean up and those who want to can stay for the short service to begin the New Year and our season of High Holy Days. All are welcome.
RSVP below so we will have enough tables and chairs, then Sign up here to choose a dish to contribute to the dinner. Your recipe will be sent once you sign up. The dish sign up link will also be in your confirmation email.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
